Cheapest way to get to Melbourne

Scoot starts next month

I've previously signed up with Scoot and got an email from them this morning. SGD 88 all-in one-way from SIN to SYD. Tried making a "mock booking" with 15kg luggage costing SGD 268. From Sydney, you still have to make your way to Melbourne. Maybe spot a A$50 Jetstar flight from SYD-MEL or take the Hume Hiway (wink!) via Firefly coaches for 12 hours, also around A$50.

BTW, Scoot will start their public sale tomorrow!!

Much better deal to go with only carry-on baggage. Having to flick between Melbourne and Sydney is a drag. Still, it's a beautiful thing ...
