Buying Dive Gear in Singapore

The Concourse Shopping Centre has some good dive shops. It's at Beach Road.

Hi Morid - Actually, that's why I'm asking. I always used to head to the Concourse when I needed dive gear, but went down there last week and found they'd closed the entire shopping centre... Any other suggestions?

Hm. Sorry, didn't know that. There are dive-shops (FriendlyWaters and I think to remember there's another one) in the Riverwalk building. There's also a dive shop in the basement of Lucky Plaza, at least there used to be one...

Waikiki Dive, one of the dive shops from Concourse, moved to Crawford Centre, Lavender.

Gill Divers has an online shop, but I don't know them...

There are some shops along beach Road. Just opposite the Concourse Mall and a few metres away. There are also lots of fishing gear shops. I also used to shop in the Concourse Mall, the Waikiki Dive Centre, the Richmond Supplies and the Oceanic shop.

also worth noting is that the Asia Dive Expo is on in Singapore this year at Suntec from April 18 - April 20 (Friday – Sunday) at Suntec.

Thanks everyone, that's a fair bit to work with - anyone have any particular negative/positive feedback on any of those places? Friendly Waters seem promising based on email/telephone contact but I haven't managed to get to the actual shop yet. What I liked about Richmond was the combination of professionalism/efficiency with a laidback personal approach, even if they never were the cheapest people in town. Looking for another place along those lines. Cheers

What particular gear/ brands are u looking for? Dive shops are quite spread out across the island although theres a couple of distributors that does retail too.

Is there a Mares retail outlet somewhere ?
