Hi,

I will be travelling around on some Philipino-islands during the coming three weeks and intend to buy a Philipino Mobile pre-paid SIM-card. Which one do you recommend me to buy? I'm mainly going to call international phonecalls and send SMS to Europe.

Thanks for your tips!

// Alex

I am on a tight schedule and would like to spend about a week hiking the Batad and Sagad areas in late August. What`s are my options for getting to these places from Manila. Can it be done in one long day, or do I have to stop over in Baguio for the night? Finally, are places still open this late into the rainy season? Is hiking feasible?

Thanks.

Just wanted to let everyone know that if u r visiting Boracay, Dave's Straw Hat Inn is a great place to stay. It cost me about $50/night in a deluxe room for my husband and I and 2 kids, air conditions, flushing toilet, large bar fridge, large bathroom, cable tv, 2 minutes walk to beach, and the staff are so friendly, helpful and thoughtful. It was very safe and secure, cosy and the other quests are similar as to why they stay there so everyone chats if you want to but it is also very quiet as…

Headed out of Australia via Singapore to Manila - Tiger Airways. Flights were good unless you actually want to sleep on Tiger, their hosties work on commission so are keen to make announcements about the products you can buy - every hour or so!!

Caught the bus from Clark to manila (2.5hrs) cost about P350 - easily done as there are multiple bus companies in the foyer of the terminal. As we were tired and our budget had some stretch we stayed at Las Palmas hotel in Malate. Lovely room with the…

Hi
I am hopefully going to the Philippines in November for 6 weeks.Will be back home for Christmas. Could you please give me some advice on which part would be the best for snorkeling, nice beaches and island hopping. It's my first visit and I was planning on going to Palawan, Bohol, Camiguin,Siquijor and Leyte. Is there a possibility to see whale sharks at that time of year in Donsol or anywhere else? Where will be the least rain and the calmest seas?
Any advise will be very much apreciated…

UK passport holder looking at 5-6 weeks. Is it better to just get a visa or extend my stay when I'm there?
