Has anyone done this ? On what airline and how much ? All of the ones that I see on U.S travel sites are quoting $1,000+ U.S. Any inputs are greatly appreciated. Flying into Bangkok then Saigon won't save me much money either.

Has anyone ever been there? I hear Duka Bay Resort is nice. It looks like a great place for diving. What about surfing? Any safety issues I should know about? Thanks...

I am thinking about traveling to the Philippines go attend my brother's wedding. He tells me the best/ nearest city to stay in is Angeles City. I've been reading quite a few things about that city that make it sound very unsafe for a female traveler alone. Is this place really that unsafe.. do I need to leave valuables at home? I'm starting to think even just wearing my diamond wedding rings may not be a good idea. Can anyone lend me some insight??

Can anyone recommend any boutique-like hotels in Boracay. I'm not looking to spend millions, just spend a relaxing 9-10 days in style, near the beach.

I have a chance to get out of manila for a few days and want to get to palawan. I know all of palawan is fantastic but i was wondering if anyone could advise on the differences between coron and el nido. I am inclined to go to coron/busuanga as its quite a bit cheaper but will it be as good as el nido/bacuit? Any advise from someone who has been to both would be greatly appreciated.......

I just found out that it's cheaper to fly on AirAsia from KL to Clark than from KL to Manilla on CebuPac. Are there any advantages to flying into either...thanks

I am trying to get in contact with this hotel to make a reservation(in the USA now). The email from their web site doesn't seem to work-comes back undeliverable. Does anyone have a email for this hotel? I tried hostelworld.com to make a reservation, but that didn't work either, because that web site wanted to charge me for 2 people, not one..

whats the best way to get from one to the other. would it be best to fly to cebu then get a puddle jumper closer then to a ferry? any cheap airlines? and or info on ferrys thanks

Can anyone recommend somewhere that is reasonably priced to stay for a few days in Kalibo during the ati-atihan festival in January ? It's hard to find information on costs and the only places I've managed to contact are about $300 USD a night. Thanks!
