Im doing a short (very short) trip to Philippines, 10 days only, what itinerary do you suggest?

I'll stay 2 weeks in Cebu area and already decided to go to Bohol and probably Panglao.
My problem is to choose another island and at the moment I'm thinking Malapascua or Siquijor or could I do all of these?

How is Siquijor compared to Malapascua like beaches, things to do etc...?

I'm off to the Philippines for 2 months over christmas and new years, and I just need to find out what malaria tabs are best to take.

I'm going to spend a little time in Manila, about 2 weeks in the Visayas, about a week in Puerto Galera and about a week in Quezon province to visit family. Places at risk are apparently everywhere lower than 600m, which is everywhere where I will be visiting!

I arrive Manila soon and am looking for somewhere really clean to stay. Don't care about location or having a tv, just a clean room and perhaps friendly staff. I can spend up to about 75 USD. Anyone been in Manila recently and can recommend somewhere?

Dear fellow travelers - divers,

I would like to have your advice on were to stay and who to dive with in the Coron Bay area.

We will arrive by plane in Busuanga beginning of Nov and have 6 days of which I hope to dive 3 or 4 days trying to do 3 dives per day.

I understand that accommodation might not come as cheap in this area as in the rest of Asia (like 8$/night) but maybe you know a good place that is still relatively good value.

Is it a good idea to stay in Coron town, or is it better to be just…

Has anyone flown into Cebu on Cebu Air Pacific from Hong Kong? It arrives at 3AM!!!!!!! Any idea how long customs takes and also about getting to a hotel at that time of night / morning. ANy decent cheapies open?

just a quickie, off to davao on thursday and havent got accomm sorted. was recommended either sychar hotel or hotel galleria. any experiences with these hotels or other recommendations in the area of P1000 to P1400 for a double?

Anybody knows any travel agencies in Manila or anywhere in Laguna that does tour packages to Japan and China? I'm from the US but will be visiting the Phil. sometime in the future. I was thinking of doing a little asian trip on the side and I'm thinking of Japan and China to visit. The point of origin will be in Manila since I will be staying with some folks in Calamba Laguna. And back to Manila again, stay a few days in the Phil and back to the USA. I dont have problems with my roundtrip fare…
