Not sure if this is accurate or not, but the internet and LP mention that the Chocolate Hills are a beautiful site in specific periods only.
I am planning to be in Philippines in the first two weeks of Feb 2016. Seeking your inputs from experience whether that is the right time to visit Chocolate Hills.
Planning my itinerary, so your help will help me figure out whether or not to travel there. Thanks :)

Can you recommend a nice place to stay in Bohol? The idea is: close to a nice and peaceful beach (not sure if Alona beach is too crowded, we are travelling during New year's eve), eventually a hut or bungalow would be nice, not a luxurious resort, but a clean and comfortable place to relax, ok if close to a motorbike rental place, not needed to be close to bars and clubs (if any in bohol).

Can you help me? My understanding is that if I would like to go to taal volcano from manila, I should take a bus from the company San agustin, but it is not clear to me from which terminal in manila I need to depart... is that Pasay? Or somewhere else? It might take 2-3 hrs but where can I find the timetable of the buses? I HAVE tried to look on pinoytravel.com.ph but to clue. And the same information might be needed to come back in the evening from Tagaysay to manila.

what itinerary would you recommend for some beaches and country side, incl Coron, El Nido, Port Barton? We travel with a 12 months baby so there should not be too much hassle. How to link best these places? The only part of Philippines wehre I have been so far was Cebu, Dumaguete, Alona Beach. So I want to see something new..

My boyfriend and I Are going to the Philippines in the beginning of January.

We are traveling from Cebu City to malapascua, and from Malapascua to Dumaguete a week later.
The easiest and fastest way is to get the Hotel to arrange our transport/pick ud, but it is also the most expensive. Costs 4600 PHP from Cebu to malapascua.

Does enyone have tips/experience about the trips? How is public transport, is there a lot of delays? Is It for example possible to book privat vans, and how expensive…
