Where go at the end of September in Philippines?

A friend recommended very much going to Philippines.
Unfortunately I can get away from my job only at the end of Sept, which is not exactly the best season there.
Can you recommend a place which has reasonably good conditions at that time of the year?
Palawan? Boracay? Cebu?

Boracay will be coming to the end of raining season in September, so would be a fairly good choice.

September still has a fairly high probability of typhoon hits, so you want to go well south, out of the usual typhoon track. I'd say Central Visayas/NE Mindanao.
