regarding misst2ks response to my last question, she mentions you can get walkers in the philippines (i presume she meant crisps). where in the philippines can you buy walkers crisps? i have never seen any and lays just arent as good. does anyone know of any places in the philippines selling british food stuffs like colemans mustard, branston , bisto etc?

No not crisps. I meant walkers shortbreads/pastries - they sell them in tinboxes in airports all over the world as gifts ;-)

you can buy spam in almost any supermarket anywhere in the philippines. miss i know the walkers you mean now, they make good shortbread, i take it from the replies noone knows where you can get the other stuff i mentioned.

Try Bretto's deli, perimeter road in Angeles, might not have all you want but you'd find some stuff, and they could probably order for you.

I'm sure there are places in Manila as well, ask around the Brit expat joints. Try Heckle & Jeckle or Handlebar on a night when a Premier League game is on; there will be Brits!

I love English chips! Rock salt and vinegar are my favorites. We have them here in Holland but not the whole variety and only a few supermarkets sell them. Ikea's lant chips are also good and so are Miss Vickies in the US.

Is there actually an Ikea shop now in the Philippines?
