of course it's changed. The population of the Philippines, has almost doubled since 1985. They were only just past 50 million in those days. It's gone up by about 90%. The Thai population has only gone up by about 30% since 1985.

And its going to keep going up Callippo, probably one of the biggest challenges the Country faces, but I dont think its the rising population that has changed PG but the rising resorts.White Beach is now almost entirely surrounded by huge hotels..Sabang pretty much the same..

the rate of population increase will not be quite so steep in the next thirty years as it was in the past 30 years. It will probably only go up by about 70%, not 90%. So that is only 170 million Filipinos in 2045 not nearly 200 million.

Lets hope they have some sort of plan on how to cope with that, but probably not.Think they have enough problems trying to deal with the present, let alone the future, time for and SMB me thinks..Both the cuase and the answer to many of lifes difficulties.
