Hi to all! I will be traveling with two friends @ 1st to 18 January. We are thinking to visit Palawan, Coron anda Boracay.
I read something about Tao Philippines Explorer, the boat that does the trip from El Nido to Coron... is someone going or interested? Anyone who did it can talk me about?

Tnanks

I'm booked to do it in the opposite direction end Dec. Unfortunately that's probably too late to give you a review

I have heard the Tao boat is a really good trip. I also know of a really good boat owned by an English guy that is running a trip from Davao on the 20th of Jan down into Indonesia. They are called South Sea Nomads. Their trip is going to be 3 1/2 month trip covering 3500 miles. But it is separated into 6 sections so people can do however much you want

Does anyone have any other recommendations other than TAO? They are fully booked!

Diana: You asked me to feedback. Despite the weather being a bit iffy (we left Coron at the end of Typhoon Melor when the ferry to El Nido was still being refused permission to sail), the trip was superb. Saw no other tourists for over 3 days. Snorkled/swam where no one else was, ate tons of fish caught off the boat and had a great crew and fellow passengers. A community project too. Can't recommend enough.

Note this recommendation is for the wooden outrigger explorer 5 day/4 night trip. Crossed on day 4 with one of their other boats. Looked rather full compared to ours and perhaps more of a "party" boat.
