Hey guys,

I'm planning to head to the Philippines in Jan for 3 weeks. Not into diving or the whole diving scene, just looking for great beaches and islands that offer good swimming, scenery, and a good selection of inexpensive accomodation and restaurants. Where can I find this? Palawan? Visayas? Luzon?

well if yu want an easy beach escapades then just head on to the Infamous boracay but to tell you there are other great destination just like Glan in Sarangani the beach is to die for check out my post about Glan click here

Just found out about this not long ago, not yet a well known island so the prospect of having plenty of choices is rather low but the potential of having a relaxing vacation is high.

Boracay has what you are looking for - lovely beaches and there's plenty to do - restaurants, watersports etc, as well as a friendly and laid back nightlife scene.
