Hello,
I am planning to retire in sagada. Can you please tell me- anyone who lives there- where i may go for information on permanent housing when i get there? Is there a tourist or expat resource center there some government office to direct me.
Any information you can provide me including local realtors i will appreciate greatly.
I have tried the links on last years thread which were unhelpful- they are bnb links as well as vacation rentals and i will be a resident. Thank you!

Presumably you have visited Sagada and spent some time there as you intend making a life changing move so
you will know the layout and geography of the town which by population standards in Philippines is only really
a village. There is no high street with real estate agents offering properties for sale or rent. As Sagada is a hot destination for local and International tourists most available properties will cater for that market. Best advice would be to go there, get your walking boots on and start asking around from town hall to barangay office. hoteliers and locals for possible leads.
There was a regular poster on the forum who resides in Sagada, engaged in the outdoor activity business but who is now inactive on the forum.
Will PM you possible contact details
Good luck

I like Sagada but it is quite remote, nearest town of any size is probably Baguigo which is some hours away. There used to be a poster on here who lived there but maybe he has left? Pikayaker was his handle, last post 6 months ago.
Yes I hope you have been there, it is different from most other places in the Philippines. My advise is rent somewhere before you decide on anything permanent. Watch out if buying property there, so many scams in the Philippines.

Thank you herbie and guapo so much.<3 yes i visited sagada for 2 weeks. I love nature fresh veggies and quiet.
