If you are using the Lonely Planet guide, you need to know that Kadlagan Outdoor no longer offer the two hiking packages listed on page 170 (May 2015 12th edition). The park officials now require one to use one of their licensed guides. Kadlagan can arrange for your permit, rent gear, and offer advice. Keep in mind the Kadlagan Outdoor is now located on the 2nd floor the SM Mall (near Ace’s Hardware store). At this time there is still a sign for Kadlagan at the former Dimasalang Street site, but it is shut down. You can probably do the trek cheaper by going to Naga City Compound to get your permit. Now one needs to make all the arrangements yourself. JoJo’s phone number found in the LP is still correct and they have a very nice shop at the SM Mall.
One thing about the Mt. Isarog climb is that you will experience what it is like to be in a jungle (technically, a virgin rain forest). Amazing. I only had enough time and water to make it to camp 4 which is still about 2 hours away from the summit. Excellent guides and experience.

there is more than one Naga city, in the Philippines. This one is in Bicol. But there's another one in Cebu.
