Can anybody tell me where a good place to rent a motorcycle in Tagbilaran, Bohol is at? I'm looking for at least 125 cc or 250 cc motorcycle to rent for about a week, to explore the island on. Just the name of a street where motorcycles are available would be helpful, or the shop name. I know I can rent one in Panglao, but I don't want to go over there just for a motorcycle. Thanks in advance.

I tried to do the exact same thing as you in November 2014. The thinking is I want to explore Bohol using my own self-drive motorcycle. Why bother, going to Panglao, to get one. Tagbilaran, is the obvious place to base yourself. Why bother going to Panglao, just to get a motorcycle.
I found that in Tagbilaran there was a cartel-type motorcycle hire operation going. You basically couldn't hire one, for less than 500 a day.
whereas in Dumaguete, you can hire a motorcycle for 250-300 a day.
when this obvious contradiction was pointed out to them, they resorted to claiming that Bohol is 'special' and that they were entitled to charge double, or nearly double.
good luck Bohol tourism. I saw through you. The next year I brought a motorcycle over from Leyte on a ferry so I wouldn't have to deal with those Bohol idiots again.

eventually I did manage to hire a bike in Tagb however it wasn't all that satisfactory. My mate got a decent bike, but I got a rubbish one that cost me nearly 400 a day on a weekly rental regardless. That bike I got, would only be worth 100-150 a day rental in the province, but because you are a foreigner, they think they are entitled to charge more than they would a Filipino. The hirer, who is not quite as bad as the others, is called Bebong, and you can reach him on 09212619901. Situated in central Tagb.
