Is there any way to go from Palawan to Bohol? I will be traveling in january/february and want to see both Bohol and Palawan. I will have about a week for both and would like to figure out the best way to do this. I'm thinking of staying in El Nido in Palawan, but am open to other hotels.

Any help would be appreciated!

The other option is you go back to Puerto Princesa and then get a flight to Cebu. You can then get a fast ferry to Bohol.

This will ultimately take a lot longer than Jim's option but it will be cheaper as ITI's prices are rather expensive. It will also involve an overnight stay in Cebu as the flight gets in around 6pm.

I would suggest you fly to Cebu take a bus south to Oslob stay the night there (Germarose Is a beautiful beautiful guesthouse)go swim with the whale sharks, you can do this and be back in Cebu by 2pm then get the ferry to Bohol.

Once you are as far south as Oslob, the least good of the 3 ways to get to Bohol from there is via Cebu city. The best way is via Dumaguete, even though it involves 2 ferries. The next best way is to catch the daily 12 noon ferry to Tagbilaran from the port of Taloot just north of Argao, although that would mean an early start with the whalewatching, as even Taloot is quite far from Oslob. The last way is going all the way back to Cebu city, and through all that traffic.
