There were spaces on the URL (represented by %20) and so I just erased them. Try this Global Incident Site Map. It should work now.
Talking about the map. No wonder the US and the UK don't issue travel warnings against each other. They both have the most terror incidents (outside of Irag and Afghanistan of course)!

Issuing travel warnings at each other? That would be hilarious. With the weapons of mass destruction fiasco, would you still believe their travel warnings?

Bomb blast in Mindanao with the mark set at southern Cebu? Oh yeah...
I love this site. It will add more to the hype created by modern day media. And it will bring even more trolls to this forum...

The other week I tried booking insurance for my forthcoming trip to the Philippines. I went on line and was going to use Columbus Insurance who I have used before.
After filling in the on line form, for some reason the computer would not accept either of 2 credit cards I tried to use.
I phoned Columbus and told the guy I was having difficulty paying. He took down all my details, and then asked where i was going. When I said the Philippines he replied "Ah, that's why the computer would not accept payment. We are not insuring travellers going to the Philippines." I explained that the computer had not asked what destination I was going to, only "worldwide exc USA and Canada".
Anyway, he ensured me that Columbus would not insure me for the Philippines.
back on the computer, 15 minutes later I had found and paid for insurance for my trip (and it worked out £5 cheaper than Columbus)!
I have since looked at the UK foreign office website...it does not say people should avoid Philippines, only specific areas (we all know which ones so I don't need to repeat them...
I have used Columbus Insurance quite a lot in the past, but they have lost my custom from now on...chickens!
