Who knows from which pier in Cebu City the ferry leaves? I could not find out in my travel book. I intend to travel to Carmen to see the Chocolate Hills. Thanks for any help

You needn't worry too much about this one. The port is big, but not all that big and there is many ferries to Tubigon a day. The taxi driver, if he's been a taxi driver for a while, will probably know. The important thing is to get down the port reasonably early. 10am is a lot better than 4pm.

Hi callippo, thanks for your lines. I am less worried. Hopefully I will find a good taxidriver. As we are early birds we will there at 8.00 am

it's not all that difficult to do it independently using public transport. Print out this map http://www.bohol.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/bohol_island-21.gif it will be better and easier to reference than the one in your guide book.
As said start out early from Cebu, the ferry is 2 hours, Carmen is by far the biggest of Bohol's interior towns so there will be loads of buses and jeeps going to Carmen from Tubigon and it's only 35km. From there just get a habel habel motorbike taxi to the Chocolate Hills site.
however if you do start early it will still be only 2-3pm by the time you've finished with the Chocolate Hills. Where to next? You could stay the night at an inexpensive pension house in Carmen - there surely must be one, just like there is in all the other towns of Carmen's largeish size (Ubay, Talibon, Jagna). Or there's the well-known Nuts Huts place near Loboc, which is in a great setting, however it's overpriced that sadly is the norm in Bohol places where there is foreigners. Out of all the larger islands in the Philippines, for some reason, the Bohol tourist industry people think they can charge foreigners the earth.
you could push through to Anda, although you will need to change buses at Jagna or at the Candijay turn off and then get a habel habel or trike from Guindulman. it's beautiful there and the beaches are much better than on Panglao, however once again there is no real budget accommodation, I didn't see any fan rooms going there for less than 1200 - and even that was a bit of a find, they can be double that for the most simple basic room - and they'll stiff you ridicoulously for beers and food, like 50 for rice and 90 for a small SMP beer. That's the bad news.
the good news is that you'll probably have whatever Anda resort you end up at to yourself. Everybody knows that it's totally overpriced. Nobody ever goes to Anda because five minutes on the internet and prospective guests realise that they are charging double or three times what very similar Thai, Vietnamese or Indonesian places want.

Good morning. Thank you for all the information. We will take the ferry to Tubigon. I booked a airbnb in Carmen as I do not want to rush. I thought to take a bus/van from Tubigon to Carmen.
If you have a driver contact in Tubigon, please send it by email. If the price is ok, we might make some agreement, drive to Carmen and then to the Chocolate Hills. Or take a Habal-habal from Carmen. It all depends on the offered price.

Thank your for your long answer. I will stay in a airbnb in Carmen, 2 pensions were fully booked (I even made a phone call). After that we will stay in Loboc for a river cruise and see the Tarsier (hope to find any) I know from Sulawesi they are night-activ.
I will read about Anda (just to go for the day).
I hope there are not many too bad news. I was 20 years ago in the Philippines, it seems things have changed.

Hi 'big-jim'. Thank you for the driver contacts. It is always good to have an address and name.
