Hello

I would be very gratefull for a recomendation for a good dentist in Manila. We would like to have two crowns and some fillings done, and would like to do that douring your holiday in the Philippines, as it will surely be cheaper than in Switzerland.
I find it a little bit risky to just choose one over the internet and hope therefore, that someone could give a recomendation.

Many thanks
Anna

I can recommend my dentist at:

1-Dent
3rd Flr. King's Court II
Pasong Tamo cor. Dela Rosa St., Makati City
Tel. 811-2126 (by appointment)

The dental office has a lot of expat clients (mostly French since it is affiliated with a French medical outfit) and has top-notch equipment, but it's a little more expensive than most though I bet not as expensive as in Switzerland.

I always go to the San Juan De Dios Hospital's ( Roxas Blvd near EDSA ) resident dentists and have always been satisfied so I'd advise visiting at least three dentists before making a decision.

Having used him in May to insert 6 crowns (P65,000) including a scale and clean and other work, may I suggest Dr Andre Javison, 2F Saver's Square Building, 245 - 247 EDSA Extension Pasay City, telephone + 63 (0) 919 621 0349: open Monday to Saturday 1000 - 2000 although best to telephone first.

He did an excellent job: six months on, not a single problem. Highly professional and charges far less than in Australia.
