contact numbers for accomodation in batad needed

Sorry can't help with numbers. I think they are all on mobile only and poor reception at that. When I was there I could get nothing on Globe and the proprietor of the foreigners inn, at the bottom of the valley, could rarely get a signal. May be better at Simons higher up. I am confident that you will get accomodation. If you have not been there before, you have to hike down the valley and out again. Check on the time the jeepneys leave in the morning that you are departing.

thanks, brax! sounds like i'll be in for a lot of hiking which is fine by me. should i be getting a little bit worried now with my 2-yr old nephew tagging along? i heard porters can carry kids.. i cant wait to show him the waterfalls :)

Mobile signal is almost non-existent. The proprietor of Simon's have to climb up the roof to receive a single bar of Globe signal.

Taking the 2-yr old kid is a bit risky. Besides I'm not sure a kid that age will appreciate what Batad offers. Sure the porter can carry him, heck they can carry adults, but the descent to the falls is a bit tricky. An accidental slip and you can fall into a steep slope (rocks at the bottom). If you still decide to do this, the pool is deep and has a strong current. Not kid friendly at all.
