Anyone have any direct experience with agents in Bangkok booking tickets for Cebu Pacific from Bangkok to P.I. I'm in Banglamphu and wanting to buy a ticket without putting my card number on line because of what I've read. Thanks for your help.

Sorry but cebu pacific refuse to accept 3 of my Visa cards and my Mastercard - in order to get over the problem I got a new credit card that subscribed to the "verified by Visa" scheme and that did not work either.
I made a telephone booking and after a week realised that my card had not been debited - I sent cebu Pacific an e mail with all my credit card details and got no response and I am now about to book on Tiger Airways from Macau instead.
And if they do take my money the e ticket doesn't come so you have to spend an hour in their office at the airport getting it printed off
I am UK based so maybe Cebu pacific have problems with European cards , where is your bank ambotsaimo - and by the way what is your credit card number, expiry date and the 3 numbers on the back !!!

Even Phil. issued cards have the same problem with CP online booking. Too eager to jump on the budget flight bandwagon but wasn't prepared to upgrade systems beforehand.

You might be better off calling them from their hotline. The price I saw quoted from their website cost P800 more than when I booked it over the phone. It's the same flight.

Since you are in Bangkok you can go to one of the agents that reserve and sell tickets directly. Here is the one I used about 2 months ago. In fact the ticket they provided was a few hundred Bahts cheaper than the price quoted on their website.
