I will not lecture about the value of human life.......... as everyone here at least in the Philippines would agree (hope so:)
In the Philippines we have institutions run by Catholic nuns that take care of the soon to be mother til they give birth. You have to stay with them until the time you give birth. A week after birth you have to decide whether to give up the baby or not. You don't even have to see your baby after birth. If you can decide before giving birth, baby is taken right after you give birth. Your association with the baby ends there. It is like "aborting" the baby from you at 9 months, alive and healthy. PLEASE SACRIFICE A FEW MORE MONTHS...PLEASE. Everything is extremely confidential. Your baby will not find you and you will not find your baby. NEVER. They make sure of that. Rest assured , that the baby will be raised in a wealthy family with solid Catholic values:)...oh the nuns make sure of that too :)
My point is everything is extremely confidential......... and "LEGAL".
Have volunteered in one institution so a bit familiar..... defensive hahaha!

Well, I bought contraceptives yesterday for my girlfriend in Naga city. So I bought illegal drugs?
Illegal by the Catholic Church only, and many of the poor are brainwashed. They are not equipped to think for themselves, which is very sad.
On abortion, I don't know. This is just a sad thing, and painful too. Just reading this thread gave a knot in my stomach and ***!
Nevertheless, there are indeed underground doctors who operate these. Your best bet is to ask around some trusted locals that you know, and not in here. If you don't know anyone, best is to ask some workers in a hospital, I am sure they know someone and who knows they might have that slip of the tongue. Be reminded though that these doctors can be dodgy, so be careful.
