Will 20 GBP be sufficient for a day or is it too tight ?

yeah you will have to average 700 islands per day, a little much I think.

A little info about what you like to do, want to see and experience would be a good place to start.

Well as a veteran of travelling second class overnight overnight on Indian railways it is achievable but difficult as the Philippines lacks the cheap dorms you find in Thailand for example however if you really want to see the Philippines then you could go on the www.superferry.com.ph website where you can book a three night cruise to Davao on certain days from around 1300 pesos including an aircon bunk and meals - that is about fifteen of your English pounds then you can work your way up the Visayas - or check out the cebupacific website for their promos or head up to the rice terraces where you can get a bunk in one of the guesthouses in Batad for a one or two hundred pesos a night and travel on the overnight bus.
Also if you are travelling within one week of your birthday superferry give you a discount equal to your age which may not mean much to you but for us 55 year olds it is worth having - obviously our 19 year old girlfriends have to pay full fare ( joking )

And I suggest that you reduce the number of islands to visit in 10 days to a 1,000 islands. You would have more ample time to enjoy the scenery. Take my advice. You won't regret it.

Cheers!

You have a maximum of 10 days to see everything?
You have no idea why you want to go, where you want to go, what you want to do?

Hahahahahaha, you are funny, haw,haw,haw.

go to google earth to view the satellite image of the 7,000 Philippine islands if you want to see everything.

How 'bout a little homework, just a little time??, invested before asking dumb questions here?
