Iv been reading November is the start of the poor season to dive Borneo but thats the time which works for me. Any advise? are conditions that bad i shouldn't go?

My husband and I are hoping to climb Mount Kinabalu independently – as in not through a tour package – next February (12/13th).

I have received quotes from some tour companies for a 1N/2D package that are working out to be about £350pp, and if my calculations are right, arranging the trek independently would cost about £210pp.

Hi, I have only two days in the Park and was hoping to book onto the 'Garden of Eden Valley' & Canopy walk, i tried using the Mulu park site but it seems to be just a contact form rather than booking form, also it states minimum 3 people and i'm a single traveler. Is there any way of booking ahead and not be part of a group.

Are flights between KL and Sarawak considered international or domestic? I don't need VISA to enter Malaysia. I want to get overland to Malaysia from Thailand (something I did last year) and then fly to Sarawak. Will they ask me to provide any onward ticket? Would ticket out of Indonesia back to Malaysia be good?

I'll be in malaysia from 17 august till 21 august. I was thinking of going to Singapore de 17th, then travel to tioman the 18th and travel back to Singapore the 21st (flying back to Jakarta sunday evening). Is this doable with only 4 nights? Or does anyone have better sugestions to spent 5 days in malaysia?

I recently got my open water certification in Indonesia. I will be heading to Malaysia in mid August, hopefully to get some more dives in!

So far I have only planned to fly into KL and booked a night there. The rest of my schedule is up in the air.

What are the best places to dive for a relatively new diver? I heard Sipadan Island was one of the most beautiful dive sites in the world?

I am going 2 weeks to peninsular Malaysia (mid-end August) and I'm still planning my route. I was thinking of Melaka, Georgetown, Cameron Highlands, Taman Negara, Perenthians and KL but I don't know if it's too much and if it's easy to get there (specially Cameron Highlands and Taman Negara).

I will take AIRASIA and arrive kuala lumpur airport at 5am, the AIRASIA connect flight to IRAN is 7pm, I would like to take a 6 hours rest, then do the city tour to kuala lumpur, which hotel is the best choice?
