A few years ago I stayed at a guesthouse in Pantai Chenang that was operated by a Japanese lady and her Iranian husband. It was located on Jalan Pantai Chenang nearby to the Nice Beach resort. Can anyone help me with name?
Many thanks, Jim
We're a family of five with three children aged 13, 10 and - the joker in the pack - 2.
We are planning a trip over x-mas and new year. We land in Singapore where we'll spend 4 nights, then fly to Langkawi and will take a boat to Ko Lipe where we'll spend 4 nights. Then we have booked 2 nights in Georgetown.
This leaves us 6 nights. We want the last 2 nights before we fly in KL. So we thought 2 nights in Cameron Highlands and 2 nights in Taman Negara.
Does that sound OK or would it be too…

Hi,
I will be visiting Eastern Malaysia (Malaysia and Brunei) in February next year. Any chances of wild camping? Any specific dress code (not to offend anyone).
I'm from a country that doesn't need visa however I'm planning on arriving through the land border in Singapore. I've been reading I only get a stamp on my passport but cant find if that's all I need.
Hi Hi
Am planning to travel to Borneo in December. Any suggestions for good places to visit which arent touristic hotspots? As far as I read the Malaysian part is more touristic than the Indonesian side.
Any way - I would love to see both Malasyan and Indonesian side.
Is passing the border on land possible? Can I get a visa at the border? (Dutch & Belgian passports)
Local flights in the Malasyan part look easy and cheap. What about the Indonesian part? Are there any direct flights inbetween the…
Hi all, my parents have decided to take my 2 daughters (aged 1 and 2) with them to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur - 5 days) and Indonesia (Jakarta - 7 days) next month. I thought I should help them plan an itinerary.
I'm hoping to do some research over the next days myself but I thought I should throw it out there in case anyone has any suggestions for Malaysia.
They have been to Kuala Lumpur and Putra Jaya before.
I believe they would prefer natural things like water falls, beaches, zoo and hot…
Hi,
Myself and my fiancee are getting married on the 10th August 2017 and are planning to go on our honeymoon for 2 weeks departing between 12-14th August 2017. We have never been to Malaysia before, however we have heard some good things about Langkawi and Tioman island. We have no idea about areas to stay or if the weather would be warm and preferably with minimal rain at this time of year? We are not looking for an overly active holiday, nice beaches, pool and some good restaurants and bars…
On my way back from Miri to Kuching i'm strugling to find things to do. Is it possible to do a longhouse tour along the way? (any recommended areas and if this can be arranged from Miri) or is this only possible from Kuching.
Thanks
