me and my Girlfriend are planing on going to Tioman form the 28th of August till the 31th of August. Has anyone experience with finding a good clean and cheap accommodation on the island? Online is all sold out or very expensive.

My girlfriend and I have been traveling in Malaysia for approximately 1 month now, but before we travel back home, we've got a few days to spend in Kuala Lumpur. We're interested in local markets, especially with vegetables, spices, fresh fruit and such. Are markets like these a possibility to see in KL or is the city already too developed? And in case there is, do you have any suggestions?

I am going to in malaysia for tree weeks starting tomorrow in georgetown. I had a list of things I wanted to do but now people are convinsing me to spent one week in borneo.
So what should i skip if i only have two weeks?

Hey guys,
When I hill walk at home I have decent walking boots, but that are too big to travel with. I have running trainers with good grip but I'm not sure they'll offer enough ankle support when climbing at an angle in the dark! Am I wrong? Do I need boots? And if so do I buy in Australia just before my climb, in the local town (Kinabalu Kota etc), or can you rent them?
I have the bladder of an ant! Are there plenty of rocks/places to hide on route? Would this be seen as offensive?
