Hallo everyone,

In september I will go to Malaysia for 3 weeks. We will visit KL, Perhentians, Kuching, KK and Sepilok.
Now i read something about Dengue Fever that had really scared me.
I read that there is an outbreak of Dengue in KL and some other city's.
How scared should I be? I am definitely planning on using lots of DEET. But wearing long sleeved cloothes and pants all the time that isn't really doable hahah..

How is it at the Perhentians? Is there Dengue to?

I'm planning a 15 day trip to Malaysia next week. I've come up with two itineraries, I'm fine to buy plane tickets where listed, but if anyone could advise on which trip seems more realistic and/or enjoyable, it would be much appreciated! I feel like plan one is TOO rushed, but somehow plan two is too slow? Is there something I should add to plan two to make it slightly more full but not as intense as plan one? I am heading to Malaysia starting in KL- to start a one month trip around Sth East Asia from July until August.
I am then moving to the United Kingdom, so will have luggage with me that I wont need in Asia!

I am wanting to store my excess luggage for one month if possible to stop me lugging it around!

In November, we are going on a foodie tour to Taipei, Singapore and ending in Penang, after which we want to digest on a tropical beach or island LOL.

Langkawi seems convenient to Penang, but I have read mixed reviews. Would you recommend it or might it be better to jump into Thailand and go to Railay Beach or some other southwestern Thai island.

Any thoughts are appreciated!!

In next week I'm going to go to Kuala Lumpur for few days. I read that in last years in KL was many robbery with using knife on tourist. Is it true? How is the current situation? Is walking around tourist places during the day or evening is safe? What should I watch out for? Is there any tourist destination where better not to move?

My husband and I are flying in to Kuala Lumpur KLIA2 on August 13 (at about 7am) and wish to travel to Georgetown the same day.
Bus would be preferable as we feel like we are traveling by plane enough over our holiday. However, I am a bit confused as to where the buses leave from in KL, whether they leave every day and whether there are multiple stations depending on the company? Are there any companies that depart directly from the airport?

Arriving at KLIA2 at 11: 30am and have to catch a flight out to HCMC at 14:45.

I have never been before in KL and I don't really know the airport that well. I know I shouldn't get paranoid about it but I wonder if with an eventual delay on the first flight will allow me to catch the second one? Does it take a long time to transfer? Do I have to go through immigration office ?
