hii,
I am going to Singapore in 1st week of July. From there I am planning to go to Island of Tioman. Please suggest me the good hotels there.Mid range hotel will do.I am pure vegetarian so will it be a problem there??
i will stay in tanah rata for one night, and then i would like to go to kota bharu. is there a dayly bus to go there? and where could i found it? how many kilometers are to get there?
What can we expect from the weather in Penang during mid August? How much rain are we talking about? Is the weather appropriate for sunbathing?
Can anyone reccomend a budget hotel, or nice guesthouse for my friend and I to stay in in Kuala Lumpar? We are only there for a couple of nights and so would like somewhere central.
Thanks.
Hi guys,
Just need to check a couple of things!
How long is the bus from Phuket or Krabi down to Satun to catch the ferry out to Langkawi? Can you do that trip on one day?
Am I correct in saying that there aren't any ferries from Phuket or Phi Phi to Langkawi?
I'm looking for the best way to get from Phuket/Phi Phi to Langkawi to Penang and down to SIngapore - can get the ferry from Langkawi to Penang and then fly down to Singapore, but I'm a bit lost on the first bit!
Cheers,
Pip
I'm flying in from Bali to KL and then waiting for a connecting flight to Chiang Mai in a couple of weeks.
I'm flying with AirAsia so I'll be in their terminal but I have to wait around 15-17 hours between flights (!) so I'm hoping there is something I can do in the airport/area to kill time?
Can I go to the other big and lavish international terminal?
Any thoughts?
Much appreciated,
Marco
My fiance (then to be wife) will be hitting Malyasia for three to four weeks from December 11th to early January 2008. We would like to visit some nice beaches, see some of the highland scenery and also get involved in physical activites like snorkelling, kayaking, hiking etc.
If anyone could provide some suggestions it would be much appreciated, like where to go, where to avoid, restrictions due to custom/religious leanings etc.
Has anyone any suggestions for acommodation on the islands. Not wanting anything too budget. Clean value for money chalet to not too expenive resort?
I know that Langkawi is high on the list of things to see. But I did all the Thai Islands last year. My main interest is scenery and snorkelling. I am moving on to the East Coast to Perhentian and others. Langkawi being rather expensive......could I give it a miss...or would this be unforgivable? Is Tioman still as good as it used to be.....and better than Perhentian? Is the road from Grik to Kota Bharu a must see?
