Is it just continual rain and 100% humidity in Taman Negara National Park in late November?

Or is it worth going there for a couple of days.

It won't be continual rain, it will stop sometime!! But the humidity is always high. I would say it's worth going, as long as you are prepared to get wet.

It will be monsoon season, but it often rains in Taman Negara whatever the season and is always humid in tropical rain forest. If you are going in via the K Tahan entrance, then things will still be open. There will be less visitors which is good.

Thanx to you both.

I 'have' no choice in this, thanks to airline bookings.

I really cant stand hot humid places- the sweat runs down into your bum and you end up with a chafed backside!

Hehehe, never heard of a chafed bum from sweat!!!! Guess it's like nappy rash!! I know humidity is a huge problem for those who wear glasses, and made worse if it's raining!

If you go in the rainy period, choose accomodation with A/C. That's because with A/C your clothes will dry up overnight, without they won't dry up.

I spent three days in the Ulu Muda reserve a few days ago. Leeches bit me, the T-shirt got a blood stain. I washed it, but even after two days it wouldn't dry up. No wonder, as the room had no A/C and the air humidity was 99%.
