Night bus from Tawau to KK?

there are night busses, I think they leave Tawau around 7.30 pm or 8 pm. Ask at the hotel desk in Tawau (at the dive resort they will know, too), or any taxi driver because I think you have to take a taxi anyway to the coach terminal.

Count around 12 hours for the trip, and the last time I did it (a year ago) it was RM75, might have gone up though.

The coaches are modern, 30-40 seats, and there are several companies. They show loud kung-fu or wrestling films (take ear pax along if you want to sleep) and have powerful aircon systems, excpect temperatures in the bus to be around the freezing point (take pull-over/jacket along!).

Of course you could always be a cheep charlie and take the plane that costs around 50 ringits inc tax, the airasia flight leaves at 17.55 and 10.45 - the morning flight arrives at 11.35 so it may be cutting it a bit fine
