I'll be staying in Johor Bahru and am thinking of spending a day in Singapore, then returning to JB in the evening.
I wonder how Malaysia would feel about this exit/re-entry in the same day (still have 2 months+ on my current Malaysia entry stamp).
I intend to ask about it before I cross the border, but does anyone know from experience that this is allowed?

Two days later I will cross into Singapore again to get a flight from Changi.

It's allowed. You'll get a new visa when you return.

No problem at all. Many people do it. I 've done it many times.

You will be coming back with the rush of Malaysians who work in Singapore, coming home, either by bus or by motorscooter or motorcycle.

Will probabally take a bit longer than when coming down into Singapore.

Yes... I have travelled many time to Kuala Lumpur and back to Singapore. There is no problems getting in and out of Singapore.

You would be surprise to know some Singaporeans go into jB to do their shopping and come back on the same day.

It is a normal routine...so there isn't any problems...

THere are quite a number of things to see in Singapore...there is lot's of nice food in Little India and also at Geylang Serai in Paya Lebar...

I would say ..although it is a small island..there is quite a number of things to experience....like going to Boat Quay and having drinks by the river...and going to hawker centres..where the food variety is vast. You can sample Chinese, Indian, Malay food at very affordable prices

Hope you will have a good time in Singapore.
