Hi all -
I'm currently in Semporna in Sabah, and I'm wondering if anyone knows about sea transport to Palawan. There is one line about it in my LP, but I need more details. Sounds like a cool way to get there...
I'm also posting this on the Philippines thread.
Cheers -
Becky

If you're in Semporna already I'd think you'd get more (reliable) info on this trip right there.

Saba - Zambuanga, Mindanao there is a ship. I'm not sure if teh boat from Kudat (Borneo) to Brooks Point (Palawan) is operating yet. It's planned though.
Hi Becky, did you find any info about a boat between Sabah and Brooks Point/Palawan? I am looking at doing the same thing, alternatively I'll probably opt for Zamboanga to Sandakan. cheers, Sybille

private boat run by local ppl. i did once from Kudat to one Island. and from there i took another speed boat to Palawan. I cant recall the name now. Its about 4 and half by speed boat frm kudat to the island and abt an hour to palawan. its really great passing the boarder. i have to warn u, its not safe. They can kill u and throw ur body in the sea. No ones can found u. Safe way is Sandakan to Zamboanga.
anyway, if anyone had experience travel frm Kudat to Palawan via speed boat pls pm me.
Enjoy
