Hi there,

Just wondering the level of difficulty finding a bus from KL to Singapore and the chances of booking it a day or two before the departure? Are there many agencies around the downtown that will facilitate in booking, or is it something that should be done ahead of time online?

Also, if anyone has any recommendations on what to see or do in Malaysia or Singapore for about 3 days each, that would also be appreciated - thanks :)

Unless you're traveling during a particularly busy period, you should just be able to turn up at the bus station and catch a bus relatively quickly. There are many buses on this route. You can also take a bus to Johor Bahru. From the bus station in Johor Bahru, there are a number of direct city buses heading into downtown Singapore (you buy one ticket, get off at the border, clear customs and immigration for both countries, and then hop on another bus on the same route to take you to your final destination in Singapore).

Yes,as above...usually easy,unless it is a festival/holiday.

As for what to do..what kind of things are you interested in? 3 days in Singapore,a bus trip day and then 2 full days in KL?

Check the websites easibook.com or busonlineticket.com for a list of buses. Their pick-up and drop-off point, time and prices are all listed. There are many different pick-up and drop-off points both in KL and Singapore. Choose one most convenient to you.

Theres a couple of companies who sell tickets and pick up from KL Sentral. Probably couldnt get more convenient than that.

You could take the bus from TBS to Melaka Sentral, spend a day or two and another bus to S'pore.
