Hi guys! Anyone has any recommendations on hotels? I just need it for a night before heading off to Koh Lipe the next day.
I need WiFi in my hotel room. Everything else don't matter except for cleanliness. That's it. Don't even need breakfast!

I was wondering why you would only want one night in Langkawi! If you are travelling by boat, I'd stay in Kuah, or by plane I'd stay in Pantai Cenang. Agoda will probably be a good friend; it tells you prominently whether there is free Wifi.
There are 2 piers in Langkawi for the ferry to Lipe, Telaga & Kuah.
Telaga is nearer to the airport but I'm not sure if there's any budget accommodations near it.
I don't believe boats to Lipe leave from Kuah, Telaga is the departure point so stay at Cenang. Langkawi is duty free so plan on at least a couple of days. Lipe will be thick as flies in Dec/Jan, book at least 1 night ahead of time if you can get anything at this date. Check out other accommodation once you are there.
Thanks guys for your replies. Ive returned from Lipe. I stayed at Nadiahs hotel in Langkawi and Mali resorts at Lipe. It's so quiet in Lipe when I was there. Rained a few times. people going to Lipe be warned that things are expensive there. More expensive than mainland Thailand and Langkawi.
what was Nadias like? We are also looking for a hotel for a one night stay en route to Lipe...
Actually, we fly into Langkawi and land at 1.30pm. The last speedboat seems to be at 2.30pm. Is there a chance we could make this? just wondering how long disembarkment and getting to Telaga harbour will take.......Ideally we would like to continue straight onto Lipe but I accept that the timing may be very tight.
