-20 to midday of 22: Bandung.
-22 evening to 24 evening: Yogyakarta. The 23rd we want to visit Borobudur early in the morning, Prambanan in the afternoon. How to book a tour?

To connect from Bandung to Yogya as well as from Yogya to Bali we have booked flights already.

Hi
Need advice on our Indonesia itinerary. We are a couple who have around 12 days. We are thinking of covering East and West Java and the wondering whether we should do Bali (Ubud) or Flores (Komodo National Park) or spend 4 days in Sumatra. We’d like an off the beaten path experience and are not big on surfing/diving or spending the entire day on the beach.

I’d also like some advise on the ideal route and mode of transport to get from place to place in Java – can we self drive? Is it easy…

Help. My friend and I are gonna travel to Indonesia next month and we are planning to go to Mt. Bromo. I having a hard time with the transportation, what can you suggest is the most efficient and budget wise way to go there? Also, where we should book our accommodation? (if you can discuss it in details, I would really appreciate!) We'll be arriving at the Airport on a Sunday morning probably 8am. Then we have to go back in Surabaya airport at late afternoon the next day to catch our flight…

Hi,

I am travelling from Labuan Bajo to Balikpapan and part of the flight is with Wings Air which has a restriction to hand luggage only. I am travelling around for 3 weeks so my luggage will clearly be above the size restrictions - I know there is a charge for luggage that weighs above 10 KG but does anyone know if they will allow a typical travelling backpack given it is above the size restrictions.

I appreciate any help people can give me.

Viral.

I arrived in Bali on the 10th of June and as a UK citizen I have 30 days without a visa, I however paid for one at the airport because I am here for around 45days although I was under the impression that you had 30 days and then the visa gave you another 30 day extension, is that true or will I get fined for overstaying?

Hi. We are traveling to Indonesia next summer, and want to do Ubud, then Padangbai, take the public ferry to Nusa Penida to stay there a couple of days, and then the Gilis. We originally thought of taking the same ferry back to Padangbai, and then right away take a boat from Padangbai to the Gilis. But there are several things we are worried about.
Is the safety on Padangbai-Penida and the Padangbai-Gilis ferry good? Is it better alternatives? We expect to use a whole day of traveling from Nusa…

Mt. Rinjani Without a Guide

If you’re planning to climb Mt Rinjani but don’t want to spend £££, it’s totally possible!

Equipment:

You’ll need to rent your own equipment if you’re going without a guide / Porter. There are lots of places to do this in Senaru / Sembalun so it’s easy to arrange when you arrive.

However, if you don’t have much time and want it sorted before you arrive then I recommend Rinjani Trek Mountain - +62 877-6542-1056.

He quoted us (2 people) 400 K for 3 days equipment…

Hi guys

Next week we leave for Java and somewhere in our trip, we would like to take a boat on the backwaters between Pangandaran and Cilacap. I read it's a three-hour trip, starting at Majingklak. Could anyone tell me how to get from Pangandaran to Majingklak and how long that would take? Will it be fairly easy to find someone with a boat to take us?
We'd like to reach Yogjakarta the same day, but maybe that will be to much of a rush...
Are there decent places to stay one night in Cilacap, in…

I am considering going to Indonesia for the first time from 16th Sep to 20th Oct (will be getting a suitable visa in advance). I have done some preliminary research and concluded that I’d like to visit:

I would appreciate answers to a number of questions…

  1. I have the…

Hi guys

My partner and I arrive in Jakarta at about 11 am. We’d like to leave for Labuan the same day and continue to Tamanjaya the next day. I read about tours picking you up in Jakarta, but we’d like to do it on our own, by public transport.
In Tamanjaya, we’d like to stay at Sunda Jaya Homestay, since I read good things about the place. I also read they could provide guides to go to the national park. We don’t like to join a set program.
I’d like to contact the Homestay , but the only thing I…
