I return to Denpasar from East Timor on Thursday, August 30 about 1430 and would like to head towards Bromo. What's the best way? Cost is less a problem than time. Also suggestions for seeing Bromo appreciated.

Although I have travelled loads, I have not yet travelled overseas with my baby. He will be 9 months at the time that we go to Bali (late October) and would like any tips that anyone may have. Eg: can you buy nappies and baby food there ? I am guessing that i would just use bottled water for his formula, and use Milton to steralise bottles etc

Also, my little brother passed away just after Christmas and we would like to take some of his ashes over for to scatter into the sea any would like to…

I will be this October & November for the first time in Indonesia. And there will be rainy season. How bad will it be? Will be some ferry transportation cancelled? Are there some islands where there is not so much rain?

Also any other recommations are very welcome. Thanks for your help.

thinking of going to Bali in Feb and I know it is rainy season and there is lots of rain...I imagine it is of short duration (downpour) and that is is still mostly sunny ?
Also, due to low season, I guess no hotel reservations are necessary..(or is it cheaper booking via the internet than dropping in ) ?

recently I've had to rely on my Citibank traveller checks but many places don't accept them.
How about in Sumatra????? Will be in Medan, Padang and further up north....
