Quite difficult to get informations about Accomodation and their Prices on the different Islands.
Can someone help me here?
Hoga and Tomia especially.
On Hoga used to be, besides Walacea, two other places...one belonged to Geertje and there was another on more up the beach "Hoga Paradise Garden" or something like that. We prefer a Bungalow instead of a homestay.

Oh and does anybody know if there is accomodation on Labengki Island (which is open)

Thank you

You'll have to wade through the snorkelling stuff, but there is a fair bit about accommodation on Hoga and Tomia (and Wanci) here:

and some stuff about Kaledupa in the comments at the bottom.

Hello

On Hoga there are only resorts but I stayed in local homestay, there is one, very basic, just after the jetty on the left.
The grandmother living here rent some huts (50.000 per person) and can cook eggs or fish (when she get some fish from fishermen).

On Tomia I stayed in hotel Abi Jaya, very good, room 150.000 / 200.000 including AC and breakfast. There is an evening food market about 500m from Abi Jaya, but you can order in advance the food in the hotel, very cheap and excellent. The food of Wakatobi is really really good, try suami, soap ubi, and many more I forgot the names :-)

In Wanci and Kaledupa there also local guesthouses, you don't need to overpay resorts. I stayed 3 weeks in Wakatobi in november 2016, one week on each island (Wanci, Kaledupa, Tomia... did not go to Binongko).
On each island you can also rent scooters, and (for me) the best snorkeling is in Tomia.

On Labengki only expensive resorts and bungalows (this could change quickly but for the moment all is very expensive), but I stayed one week in the house of Yanti in the bajo village of Labengki Kecil, just in front the famous Teluk Cinta. Yanti is quite usual to receive tourists (mostly local) so just ask for Yanti everybody knows her there, the house is basic (can be very very hot in the night because roof in steel and you should bring your own mastress) but food is very good (lot of fish of course because you are in Bajo village). NB: you need to speak bahasa indonesia if you stay on Labengki Kecil, as nobody speak english there.
You can charter a boat from Tinobu to go to Labengke Kecil (about 2h, price 1.5 to 2jt) and then better and cheaper to charter another boat for day trips from Labengki Kecil (the boats in Tinobu are too big... good for groups or for wavy weather but can not go everywhere, there so many small beautiful hidden bays around Labengki). And don't forget to go to mini "Raja Ampat" (Sombori Island) :-)

Loic

PS: still not possible to post photos in this forum??? :-(
