Hola amigos,
Is it sensible to try to visit, in just one month, traveling by land and not rushing like a mad mosquito, the following?

Yogyakarta (mainly for Borobudur & Prambanan), mount Bromo independently, part of Bali (Ubud as a base) and a piece of Lombok (Gili Air and Meno included). I love snorkelling; tell me one spot with good coral reef, just one please, I shouldn't miss in this itinerary.
Muchas gracias

Easy, not rushed at all.
Pulau Menjangan off NW Bali is probably the best place to snorkel.

My info & thoughts:
on East-Indonesia.info: Indonesia, Maluku, West Papua, Raja Ampat & Indonesian Visas
on Thorn Tree: Seeing Orangutans, Kalimantan, Kiribati & Tuvalu

Laszlo took the words right out of my keyboard.

If you are coming from Bromo you can go overland to the ferry, over to Gilimanuk, take a bus or bemo to Pemuteran. Overnight there and get snorkel boat to Menjangan. From Pemuteran shore you can also snorkel the bio-rock project with good coral too.

Thanks both of you. Will follow your suggestion.

snorkeling around Nusa Penida/Nusa Lembongan is a nice option as well, good corals and the (pretty good) chance to see manta rays. This isn't snorkeling right from the shore though, you'll have to take a boat trip (same goes for Pulau Menjangan). Pulau Menjangan has nice snorkeling also, but if I had to choose one place on Bali I would go for Nusa Penida.

Gracias Shr01,
I will take good note of this information, and, once there, see wich place is more accesible, "cheaper" and closer to where I am moving through.
