Hey there

Just wondering if you could get a used surfboard in Bali and approx how much it would cost? A beginners board, like a mini mal or along those lines. Just want to see if it will be cheaper to buy a board for the month or pay the rentals. Thanks!

I don't surf and don't know anything about it - but what I see everyday at the beaches in Kuta/Legian/Seminyak area is, that you can rent a board for a day or even just a few hours. All kinds of boards and sizes available.

A friend of mine rented one huge one for 3 hours for Rp 100.000.

What I heard, you can rent even for a whole day from Rp 80.000 to 300.000.

dont rent your board from the beach, go to the surf shops in the poppies area, itll cost bout 3 dollars a day. Loads of mals around pretty beaten but ll be way cheaper then buying a board over there, they are expensive and you may get done.
