Hi guys

Okay, so I did something stupid....

I'm heading out to Indonesia is just over a week. I just noticed that my passport isn't valid for as long as I had thought.

When I arrive I will definitely have 6 months on my passport. But when I leave, 4 weeks later, I will only have 5 months and 20 days or so.

Does anybody know if this is a problem? I have checked with the official sites, and they all say 6 months validity upon arrival. Nothing is said about departure. But I'm obviously a little nervous.

Does anybody have any experience of this? Again, I definitely have 6 months upon entering the country,

Any help, tips or anecdotes would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks

6 months upon arrival is what you need.

My info & thoughts:
on East-Indonesia.info: Indonesia, Maluku, West Papua, Raja Ampat & Indonesian Visas
on Thorn Tree: Seeing Orangutans, Kalimantan, Kiribati & Tuvalu

As above, not a problem (confirmed by the Indonesian embassy).

You won't even get on the plane let alone get to immigration if your passport does not conform to requirements.
6 months on arrival is all you need.

Every group has its own dynamics, if you can't see the idiot then it's probably you.
Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think :-D
