New Train Service from the Airport to Central Jakarta

Nope Gary, there isn't.
The article only says there will be one, at some unspecified time in the future.

"The first train has arrived and the rest will come in September,"

When I read the article I interpret 'train' as an engine pulling carriages that has already arrived and that more will arrive next month. It is not clear to me that it is fully operational yet.

It is clear that it is not yet operational, just one of 10 planned trains has arrived in the country.
Everything about the operation is in future tense in the article.
For example:
"The airport track will connect the airport with Manggarai Station in South Jakarta and Kota Station in West Jakarta. The whole track will run along a 36.4-kilometer line."

does anyone have any info on whether the skytrain within the soekarno hatta airport is up and running. I am flying in on October in a domestic terminal and need to catch a sccot flight to Singapore (I believe this is from terminal 2)?
I haven't bought the domestic leg yet from yogya as I cant estimate the time taken to get from one terminal to the other? I read somewhere to give an allowance of 4 hours from scheduled landing of domestic flight to departure of international flight but I am travleeling with young children and don't really wanna get stuck in the airport for idle hours ....thanks for the help

The Skytrain is planned to start between a few terminals in September.

All the terminals will be connected to the Skytrain in November.

Jakarta friends informed me the skytrain is already operating but only connecting T2-T3 atm.
