We are preparing our holidays and our idea is to flight from KUL to Surabaya and then to Makassar in order to go to Tana Toraja and after we would like to go to Borneo but the Malaysian Borneo the problem is that we are not able to find any flight from Makassar to Kuching, Kota Kinabalu or Sandakan or may be to Brunei, the only way we have found is to return to Surabaya and then to KUL and again to Kuching, or Kota Kinabalu....etc. Do you know any company that operates this flight?

from kul you can fly to jakarta, surabaya or bali. the closest destination is bali which is only 1 hour fly to makassar/ujung pandang. from bali to makasar you can use either garuda (at 9am and 3pm) or lion air (at 7pm). from makassar you can fly to balikpapan with garuda. thenfrom balikpapan you can fly to kota kinabalu using malaysi airlines or airasia (but please check first the schedule) or from balikpapan you fly to tarakan and then use boat to tawau(malaysia)
