Hi All,

I am landing in Balikpapan to head up to Sangatta/ Samarinda and wanted to know about the bus schedule - I know that it can be unreliable at times but I came across the below link and wanted to know if anyone knew if the times they display are accurate? I do not plan to book a ticket in advance but I wanted to know if the times were accurate so I can get an idea of what time I can leave - it says there are regular buses heading up to Sangatta including overnight buses.

The plan is to head up to Sangatta to go to Kutai National Park and see the Orangutans hence why I need a bus to Sangatta/ Samarinda

Bus to Samarinda is very often.. maybe almost every hour and even there's van providers direct from the airport..
I only know kangaroo travel serves Balikpapan (incl airport) to Samarinda with their vans every 15 mins or so. No idea about buses up to Sangatta
