Dear All,

I also posted this in the East Timor forum. I was wondering what the reliability of Citilink is like?? Do they cancel/delay flights a lot?? I can't seem to get a totally straight answer. I also was wondering what terminal it lands at in Bali, and if it is the domestic terminal, how long does the transfer take between the domestic terminal and international terminal with no checked luggage? I am eyeing a flight that has an 1:30 layover in Bali, but I am afraid it won't be enough time, even if I print my board pass, and only have carry on luggage. It also seems that the Citilink flights land at the Domestic terminal, but I am hoping it lands at the international terminal as I suspect that will be easier. Thank you for your help.

Best,

Manolands

Your Citilink flight is from Dili? Then of course it should arrive at the international terminal. And where to will your next flight be? Without this information it is difficult to answer.

In any case, 1.5 hours seems very short for a transfer. I have no experience with the Dili flights, but in general delays are not uncommon.

When I looked it up on Google it seems to land at "Terminal D," which seems I think is the domestic terminal. There is not a lot of info though so I am not entirely sure. I am looking at a flight using Garuda to Singapore. Hope that helps!!

The plane may park at the domestic terminal, because the plane continues to Jakarta. However, passengers getting off in Bali will then certainly be brought to the international terminal by bus. After all, that is where the immigration officers are.

I think in theory a transfer of 1.5 hours is possible, but in any case there is a significant chance of missing the connection.

Ahhhhhhh that makes a lot of sense. I am thinking about a Scoot flight that goes out later, but it could create problems with the later connection in Singapore as it will tighten the layover window by a lot. I also have not read stellar reviews of Scoot, and really can't afford a delay. Still a work in progress lol. Thanks for the info though!!!

Your connecting flight check in will close 30 mins after you arrive. Even if your flight arrives on time, it can easily take 30+ minutes to get off the plane, get through immigration, get to arrivals, and check in for your connecting flight. Hell you can stand in immigration longer than that. if you also have a bus transfer to get from the plane to the terminal, forget it.
