Bali itinerary for 9 days + 3 days in Gili | Indonesia - Lonely Planet Forum

Hello everyone,

We are going to Bali next week for 12 days.

We've booked accommodation for the following itinerary and we doubt about what to sightsee in each point:

~ Ubud: 2 full days... we've searched and there are loads of temples, and some of them are far apart from each other. which ones do you recommend us not to miss?
~ Seminyak: 4 days... we plan to rent a scooter and go around. any route recommended?
~ Uluwatu: 2 days
~ Gili T: 4 days. any suggestions?

could you please help us?

HI Magui: Are your accom locked in ? IF you want to sightsee or do a bunch of stuff then Seminyak is not the place to do it. It's more about the cafe culture and upscale shopping than nature. I would do at least 4 days in Ubud and then either Uluwatu or Seminyak but not both.

Gili T is not in Bali, it's part of Lombok. There is not much to do there except at the beach.

I agree with cuscus.. Unless you have all of your accommodation booked, you should just get to Ubud and take it from there. Easy enough to make your plans once you are on location. Research a little bit more on where you may want to go. Have fun.

Actually we have our accomodation already booked. And we are now trying to confirm the itinerary and which are the best sports on each place.
We would like to know which are the best temples to visit in Ubud and the best things to do in Seminyak.
