A few questions:

The LP book on Tibet states that there is no public transportation from Nangartse (Yamdrok-tso) to Gyantse. True? If so, any thoughts about getting from one to the other (prefer not to hitch hike)?
Any recommendations for touring companies to do a 3-4 day excursion to Nam-tso and Tashi Dor Monastery?
Any recommendations (and web sites and/or e-mail addresses) for trekking companies either in Lhasa or Kathmandu who do Everest advanced base camp trek?

We will be having 5 days in Hong Kong as part of our honeymoon, but wanted to go to 'China' as we have never been before. As we have never been to HK/China, we are open to some suggestions.

Where is good to go to from Hong Kong (we don't mind flying) if only for a few days? Obviously we don't have a lot of time which is a bugger, but we wanted to try and see something other than Hong Kong (our 5 day stopover is in HK).

I am going to my friend's wedding in Hiroshima this coming weekend. I have known her for about 7 years and meet her or talk with her about twice a year. Wondering how long we need to spend in the following areas? From the LP says only 3 hr hike for the Dragon backbone (well the main route anyways). Is this sufficient time? Doesnt mention anything about accom in Longsheng itself. cant anyone recommend any??

Also want to go from Longsheng onto Kaili and the surrounding areas? is there buses direct?? Any villages in partiucular that shouldnt be missed?
