Hi,

I'm planning on doing the Mt Kailash kora at the end of May. I'll be doing the whole 4WD thing from Lhasa and I have most of the itinerary Lhasa-Mt Kailash sorted, but after the kora I would need to get to Kathmandu as quickly as possible. What do you think is the quickest I could get there, realistically? 2 days maybe?

I'm intending to spend some holidays on Yakushima island next April, but I wonder about the weather... I read it's very rainy, so is it all the day long ? violent rains that prevent you from hiking ? Should I bring an umbrella ? Can I swin on this season ?

Hi I am looking for people who have actually stayed in a Ger recently. I would like to do this in a couple of days, but I heard there are some expensive companies out there, and also some that are cheap but just not worth it. Does anyone have any feedback (positive or negative about any companies)? I only have three days in Mongolia, (en route with Trans Sib), and will prob stay in Ulan Bator for one or two nights, with the one (1 or 2) night(s) in a ger.

I am thinking of making a trip to Zhuhai in the coming two weeks and particularly I would like to visit those more remote parts such as Qi'ao Island and Tangjia. Does anybody know precisely how to get to Tangjia Temples and Tangjia Gongleyuen (Tangjia Public Garden)? Also, is Jintai Temple worth a visit? Appreciate any info.

The weather conditions are very cold in some of those parts at the moment, I am wondering if we have chosen a good time to travel. While I don't expect you to be able to give me your predictions on the prevailing weather conditions in two weeks - does anybody think this route may be blocked by snow or difficult to pass at this time of the year? hi, i have had a sudden change of heart and am planning to staing in Mongolia a little longer, i am a British passport holder and would like to know how i get about getting a 60 day Visa - on the Mongolian embassy website it says you can get a 30 day visa then if you want a longer one you have to register in UB within 7 days, however gives no mention of extra cost involved or forms i would have to fill in etc. Does anyone know? thanx

Hi basically i am flying to China next month, i am going to get a 30 day visa in Britain and then as i will be travelling from Shanghai to Hong Kong get a 2 month visa in Honnk kong (which i have gathered is realtively simple) however will i encounter any problems that i have already had a China visa recently (even though it has been 'used up') or do they not looked at past destinations.
