Hii! Here we are again with another question... We want to go to the West of Tibet, can anyone recommend any good travel agencies in Lhasa to do this?
THanks!
Hi,
It seems my previous message (see below) got misunderstood, so I'll clarify one or two things:
nothing of the below is coded language, it is simply meant to be understood as it is.
I did not want to exclude one gender, but I have to make it clear I am definitely NOT looking for gay contacts. Sorry guys. So in order to be on the safe side, I am from now on just looking for a female companion.
Would be great to hear from you!
Best,
Hans
I will be in Beijing for business with lots of spare time on…
Hi,
Quick question...should I take my sleeping bag with me on my 3 month trip to Japan? I'm leaving tomorrow and am in the process of packing my bag now. In New Zealand I got plenty of use out of it but I hear that Japanese hostels frown upon them...is this true? I'll be based in the cities for the most part, but do intend climbing Mt Fuji at the end of May if possible...
Thanks a lot!
Rich
Having problems!! Supposedly we can only purchase a rail pass to travel to Kyoto/Hiroshima if had done this before we arrived in Japan. This can't be true?? I'd like to get a one time round trip ticket or at most a 7 day pass. Not sure where to go to pick one up?? Will JR lines allow us to go from one region to the next? or should we grab a bus? trying to save time here but also money... Thanks.
Hi all :-)
We are looking for a Lonely Planet Nepal guidebook and a Lonely Planet India guidebook in Lhasa.
Does anyone know of any bookshops in Lhasa which stock english guidebooks (either new or second hand); or are there any book swap places where we could get these books (we have other guide books and novels to swap).
Thanks in advance for your help :-)
Jules
Hi,
we are planning to do Lhasa-EBC-Kathmandu overland.
we shall be stopping in Xegar, Rongbuk and Nyalam.
Are there and hostels/hotels/guesthouses in these areas that have electricity or hot water?
Also, are there any accomodation options with proper toilets in these places, or are they all the hole in the ground type?
Thanks:)
I have got my parents coming over and we plan to meet up with the in-laws for a couple of days in Yokohama.
I am looking for a reasonably priced hotel (one that won't break my piggy bank), somewhere near Seaworld would be good, the oldies aren't really into walking!
cheers.

Name your favorite hotpot place in Shanghai
Hi there,
I was planning to be in Takayama for 9 & 10 October 2007, but accommodation is really really hard to find. So I was thinking that maybe I could stay somewhere nearby, and catch a train to the festival being held over those two days.
Does anyone have any tips please? I'd consider travel of up to an hour reasonable for that festival.
Thanks in advance.
