Urgent!
I am in Kunming and should go to Italy for my business.
Would it be cheaper to fly via Bangkok or to take the transiberian train from Beijing?

Couldn't you price this out yourself? Get flight prices from Kayak. Trans-Siberian only goes to Moscow, then you have to get to Italy. Not to mention the need for Russian visa.

Flying definitely will be cheaper. Trans-Siberian is actually quite expensive for tickets + connection Russia - Italy + ancillary costs for 10 days of travel + Russian visa (and possibly other visas).
