I have done the Transsib from Moscow to Vladivostok and very much enjoyed it. Its a fantastic experience. Yes, you need to like traveling by train, and you should break up the train journey a couple of times.
But I am not sure what your question is ?
I'd get a guidebook. The Trans Siberian Handbook was very useful for me.(Bryn Thomas).
In addition, websites like Seat61 mentioned above, and past posts on here...use the search.
I agree, the Trans Siberian Handbook is really good and useful.
And Seat61 provides a lot of information and answers many questions.

Regarding the Trans Siberian Handbook, it's published by Trailblazer and you have also a dedicated one for the BAM.

I did the Trans-Siberian from Vladivostok to Moscow (then to St. Petersburg) in 2017 and spent 2 weeks in Russia. I wrote a Q&A (eg. where and how to get tickets, hot water/ shower on train etc), check it out on my blog at freeyourstep.com/. Hope it helps and have a great journey!
