Tibet Permit

Hi everyone, i just joined this forum.
sim cozy house just replied that their do not apply permit only. I need to book air ticket from them too. Have anyone know about these agency from tibet (i think) fit0891@hotmail.com He only charged RMB 250 per permit
and Mixhostel charge RMB450. The only reason i can think of the rate difference is one from Chengdu and the other from Tibet.
Please comment!!

So you were able to get just the permit from the Tibet agency, as long as you bought a night at the hostel too? What is the Mixhostel charge of RMB 450?

#1: Read carefully. Sim's doesn't sell a permit only. You need to book the plane ticket + permit from them.

Sorry, I thought the original posting was confusing. I was only asking for clarification.

But now that I read it again, I realize that the two rates are for Fit and Mix Hostel. Got it.

Anyway, mkit, just a couple days ago, I got a different response from Sim's. They told me that they can do it but you will need to sign some waivers. They didn't give me a price though.

But if you get a permit from an agency in Tibet, are they going to send the permit to you by mail?

Fit just reply my email and confirmed that fit0891@ hotmail.com is a travel agency from Tibet. They will sent the permit to my friend in Shenzen (we travelling together to tibet). I am just woried how reliable is this agency. Anyone heard of them?? Rates that they offer for Tibet permit is really cheap.

I suspect it's cheaper because they're already located in Lhasa and don't need to go through another middleman company to go and get the permits.

Friend of mine issued permit from khatatour agency in Chengdu. They got the permit for 300yuan plus tickets. Most of the hostels in Chengdu are applying Permit from them.Her eis that agency email id. Khatatour@gmail.com
